About the BWIE 'Fix Her Crown' Mentorship Initiative

The "Fix Her Crown" Mentorship Initiative is a transformative program designed to empower and support Black women entrepreneurs. At BWIE, we believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to succeed in business, and our mentorship initiative is here to make that a reality.

What We Offer:

- Tailored Mentorship: We connect mentees with experienced professionals across various industries, including law, business advisory, IT, marketing, and more, to provide personalized guidance and support.

  

- Empowerment Through Knowledge: Whether you're a budding entrepreneur in the beauty industry or launching a food business, our mentors will equip you with the knowledge and tools to overcome challenges and achieve your goals.

- Building Strong Connections: This initiative fosters a powerful network of mentors and mentees, creating lasting relationships that extend beyond the program.

- Flexible Commitment: For mentors, we understand your time is valuable. That's why we only ask for a commitment of 6 hours over a 6-week period. Your expertise can make a world of difference in that time.

Who Should Apply:

- Mentees: Black women entrepreneurs who are seeking guidance, support, and the knowledge to take their business to the next level.

  

- Mentors: Experienced professionals from all backgrounds who are passionate about empowering Black women in business. You don’t need to be a Black woman to mentor—your knowledge and experience are what matter most.

How It Works:

1. Application Process: Both mentors and mentees will go through a simple application process to ensure the best possible matches.

  

2. Mentorship Match: We carefully match mentees with mentors based on their industry, goals, and areas of expertise.

  

3. Mentorship Journey: Over 6 weeks, mentors will provide guidance, share insights, and help mentees navigate their entrepreneurial journey.

4. Ongoing Support: Even after the formal mentorship period, we encourage continued relationships and offer ongoing resources through BWIE.
